The Wolfram and Hart of construction partnerships seem to be building the corner penthouse at spook central in plain sight on Notting Hill Gate…

Odd that this BBC article announcing Steven Knight will write the next Bond film completely ignores the fact that as well as Peaky Blinders, he’s also behind the BBC’s own SAS Rogue Heroes, which I would have though was a much more nailed-on 007 precursor. What odds on Connor Swindells as Bond now?

Unbelievable. Donald Trump has been invited to a state visit to the UK. We should not be rolling out the red carpet to celebrate this man. Agree? Add your name to the petition today: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/no...
No second state visit for Trump
This is UNBELIEVABLE. Keir Starmer has just handed Donald Trump a letter from King Charles, inviting him for a second state visit to the UK. It’s totally unprecedented, and I was so outraged when I he...

Next one of the Roy Cross tribute vignettes is pretty much done: in this case, Tazio Nuvolari at the wheel of an early 60s cast metal Auto-Kit of a 1932 Alfa Romeo P3

OK, #Bsky collective… when did the “thief” protagonist become a thing? I think of Raffles or Lupin, but is there a prototype hero(ine) who is a sneaky, lurk in the shadows, do difficult tasks kind of person, who the whole point of is you don’t notice them? @scalzi.com ? @johnrogers.bsky.social ?

Having now finished Slow Horses Seapn 4… I did not realise how much I needed someone to write the cross between Thursday Murder Club, Smiley’s People and The Prisoner set in the retirement home for Service folk who know too much

I rather like the Oooh-Type, and those who are complaining about the colours clearly don’t recognise Opalescent Silver Blue, the best shade for any Jag. Or Heather, but the less said about that the better. Not sure why an all electric platform needs a bonnet big enough to hide a straight-12, though.

It does seem like the North Yorkshire Police are now literally going to have to investigate “Who are all the pies..?”

Roy Cross, doyen of Airfix box artists, reached 100 and passed away this year. As a tribute to his influence on thousand of model making kids (and adults) we decided to make some models in the shape of his artworks. Mine are based on a series of covers he painted for the Eagle comic in the early 60s

Help! Trying to remember the title of a children’s book I read back in the day. It involves kids on holiday in big old house, legends of dragons (or “worms”), finding old midwinter Mummers play costumes, and eventually the dragon revealed as an ancient earthwork in the landscape by snow. Any ideas?
