That kind of thinking is toxic to their own self-worth and leaves them rather vulnerable to being preyed upon by those who seem to have what at first is that little hit needed that could become a toxic dependency.

And to many adolescent boys who go through that jerk high school phase and dismiss all help, it ties into them all not wanting to be the damsel-in-distress or lovable idiot stuck in a tree while his friends fight for their lives. If he can’t do it all or anything on his very own, what good is he?

And I think the reason why team hero shows like Power Rangers get dismissed is because their ethos conflicts with this media or market-driven narrative pushed on us of men who shouldn’t need or want help. Who want to be the lone sole hero who fixes everything, saves friends and conquers foes to win.

Yeah, collective struggle. It’s why I often like writing stories about teams of heroes instead of just a single hero. Teams of a leader, lancer, heart, genius, giant, newcomer, mentor, tagalong kid and team pet working together.

And each character must be free to experiment and try different roles.

When used successfully, you force the Enemy into passing you a Card of his choice to you, per Turn.

#Ravenous is the latest Card in the series, pretty interesting too, it is a Wrath variant that Attacks twice, but limited in power by being usable only once a Turn.

Like against a Card that will destroy you in one blow, you might be able to use Freedom to get some Justice Cards instead, allowing you to survive through.

#Compassion is another interesting Card, and is pretty powerful, for it is a reactionary Card like Majesty, Power and Strength...

Because it ensures your survivability, in the case or scenario where you are forced to deplete your Hand and lose all your Cards, Justice prevents your loss then.

#Freedom does a mulligan for you, allowing you to Draw a new Hand, which can be pretty useful, to get Cards that ensure your survival...

#Righteousness is a very powerful Card, because it is a Card that can let you Draw more Cards, without limits, unlike Ambition, just that it is a randomized number, unlike Ambition, which is fixed.

#Justice is another interesting Card that you will always want to keep in your Hand...

Allowing you get this Card back if you want, but of course it is only a once per Turn Card.

#Swiftness is an interesting Card, that is among the weakest in a sense, but still worth using, it allows you to add plus 1 Card to Interrupt, or create a new Interrupt sequence.
