Just completed #inktober2025 !
31 prompts and one-line drawings done with a black marker. I enjoyed the process just as much as the results. I also loved discovering the works shared by others, such a source of inspiration. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who liked and commented. 🖤 you’ll!

Here we go with the #inktober challenge. This year again I’m going to draw each prompt with a continuous line in black.

This is called a violation of rights, piracy, according to European law. At the very least, you ask for opt-in beforehand, not opt-out. It is urgent to regulate AIs to protect our rights.

I've contributed to a report on 12 Principles for Better Collaboration for policymakers with my hand-drawn visuals. Written by my colleagues at EC's Joint Research Centre, you’ll find it relevant if you care about #collaboration in your organisation. Access it via QRcode or link in next post

I led my first workshop on Rock Balancing at the European Commission. For most participants, this was a new experience. They explored the practice of balancing stones, embraced both the collapses and the magic of finally achieving balance. The meditation behind this ephemeral art did us good.

I had the chance to attend a talk with David Spiegelhalter, the author of The Art of Statistics: Learning from Data. The event was organised by the European Commission Library and DG DIGIT’s Digital Innovation Lab (iLab). My sketchnotes here! What’s your way to interpret data and communicate it?

Recently I'd to visually capture the away-day of EC Directorate-General for Interpretation (SCIC). So that staff and management keep a record of what they said, heard and felt in order to continue their change process. It was intense, deep, tense too. I felt like my work brought meaning.

From Eisenhower "United Europe is a historic need" to Kennedy's "admiration" & Obama's "achievement of human history" www.linkedin.com/posts/pablop...

UM, I had NO idea facebook was tracking everything I did on the internet. EVERYTHING. I have diligently blocked and followed all ways to try to stop this messed up social media from taking from me, but this is the final straw… THESE JERKS! AGH! [screenshots on how to do it in the comments]

Today January 20, 2025, I’m withdrawing from X. Benefits of being on X are now outweighed by the negatives. Twitter was great, I built a strong network around my interests, I learned a lot, I made friends, now all that is gone. Find me on Bluesky and Linkedin, not Facebook

I came across an article that sheds light on the reasons behind our desire to stay constantly busy and the factors that make us uncomfortable with stillness.
Do any of these reasons resonate with you? what you've put in place to make room for stillness?

What do participants say about our #sketchnote course? I asked an AI to aggregate all responses from 160+ colleagues in the EU institutions who took part in this immersive, one-day, face-to-face training in the basics of #visualthinking. See my blog post www.claudionichele.eu/blog/what-do...

Capturing, as much as possible, the moment and the stories during the walk for the #wintersolstice of the EU facilitators of #leadershipwalk in forêt de Soignes. We stopped at the Monument aux Forestiers, a Belgian #WWImemorial on the Grasdellepad erected in 1920.

#Burnout is a scourge in the European Commission as in any other organisation. Volunteers within it, either specialists or interested in the subject, has formed a network to try to provide help and support. I’m proud to be part of it. My #sketchnotes of our last workshop.
