Totally agree, unless you have a family member who volunteers this because they have some sort of condition (in my sister's case, epilepsy) just in case she doesn't make it to a destination.

I have a weird aversion to putting Sonic in a car. It was explained to me that this was the only way for Sonic to join a competitive race with other non zoomers, but I've played Sonic Adventure 2 so I know this isn't true.
