Hey, what time is it?

IT'S MUFFIN TIME!

To be fair, despite the missing level, it's still bearable. And it still retains the same playability of the Arcade Version with minimal changes, if any.

The time for the end credits to finish in the SNES is atrociously long however. Feels like eternity before you get to insert your initials on HS.
codenamekid.bsky.social
Oh boy! GunForce! It was very fun to play in the SNES, although the difficulty is greatly reduced compared to this one.

Fun Fact: One of the levels in the Arcade version was cut from the SNES one. This level is where you can ride a Main Battle Tank and just go full maniac, if you survive first. Lol

If you can, get your hands to try out the OG of the entire series. Maybe soon, I can tell my first hand experiences with those games, and some ridiculously funny tidbits that I can share when playing that game when I was younger.

When you getting to play Twinbee next?

That game was strange, given that despite its nice graphics and simplistic gameplay, only ONE game from the original franchise ever managed to hit US stores, and that was Stinger.

Yume Penguin Monogatari!

Literally comedic, but very fun to play. Now that I learned that this is the 3rd game featuring Penta (main character in the 3 games, including AA and YPM) I feel kinda sad that the Sequel to AA (Penguin Adventure) did not have a FC port. It was mainly an MSX game.

I still remember surviving all 8 levels without losing a life back in my prime. Lol!
codenamekid.bsky.social
Mine is pretty simple honestly.
That would be...

(It should've been Battle City, but it gets repetitive in a short while and could get boring immediately)

Small question: Which NES/FC game would you recommend for those who would play NES/FC for the first time?
codenamekid.bsky.social
Antarctic Adventure! I used to enjoy playing that back in the Decade 2000s! Ah... Travelling the world by circling Antarctica in a ridiculously fast Penguin from New Zealand to the Penguin Kingdom all the way to Japan.

Good Game!

Yeah, they should've maintained to keep the gremlin to maintain the brand aesthetics.

Hoping to see a gameplay of a Konami Famicom Game in the Old K logo soon!

Nice to see a Konami game with the Old K logo before they started to use the Two Helix Logo the following year, I believe.

I had too much fun with the Old K games on the Famicom. Simple, yet very enjoyable.

True! Both are icons on both arcade machines and home consoles as well. But I tend to see that Double Dragon gets more attention compared to Kunio-kun games, with River City Ransom being a usual exception. Not saying it ain't as popular as Double Dragon, though. Both dominated Japan, for sure.
codenamekid.bsky.social
Ah, Technōs Japan and their first game featuring the character Kunio-kun. He starred in some sequels and spin-offs that revolve him mostly battling rival student gangs, among other things.

Also, Technōs Japan was the creator of the Double Dragon Series.

The classic aesthetics of the legendary Hiroshi Nagai.

The vibes give off a similar feeling like you're playing Sega's Outrun in it's original arcade machine during it's debut in the 80s.
