Americans and ethnicity: When I was growing up among Japanese Am in the U.S., I was bullied for being half Filipino. But when I was going to school in Japan, I was bullied for being half American. The Japanese side never saw Filipino. I lived in the U.S. and dad was at Pearl Harbor.
