It’s fucking simple. Diplomats and government representatives can make their case to the people of Greenland and Denmark. If they agree to cede Greenland to the U.S., we’re good. If not, we fuck off.

A glaring omission from my 2025 reading list is a book I’m currently reading - Alien: The Cold Forge by @alexwhite.bsky.social.
After being told it was “arguably the best-written Alien novel. Makes corporate evil scarier than the Xenomorph itself,” it became a must read.
It delivers.

It’s one thing to remove a regime; it’s another to replace it. The things it requires are always difficult, and will be especially difficult under this administration.
What ‘Regime Change’ in Venezuela Would Really Mean
It’s not clear the administration has settled on a goal, much less considered the consequences.
