This logic weirds me out because Lui Kang deliberately made Shao and Shang less threatening in hopes that they would redeem themselves.

Putting aside the plot reasons Lui Kang had for nerfing and trying to humble this guy, Shao Kahn is not someone I would consider "ideal masculine" and I am constantly fighting the urge to make a thumbnail of him against this guy just so Shao dies.

The fact that "hypnosis" has become one of the concepts regularly banned on adult websites makes me feel fully insane. We are truly living in the nightmare return of every Christian conservative moral panic we ever laughed at.

Something about the shooting yesterday doesn't feel right.
It feels too convenient. A vetted Afgan national that was granted asylum, randomly shoots a National Guardsman near the WH for no reason right when the NG was set to leave DC because there was no violence.
