5/ 2023 vs 2012 for trainees:
Overall burnout improved from 60% to 50% -- progress, but still substantial room for improvement

4/ Trainees vs US working population (age-matched):
1️⃣ 20 more weekly work hours for trainees, no surprise
2️⃣ Higher burnout levels for trainees, but actually better when adjusted for work hours
3️⃣ Similar findings for WLI and depression

1️⃣ Higher DP but lower EE scores for trainees in 2023
2️⃣ EE scores in particular were much better in 2023 than 2012 for trainees!
3️⃣ Similar depression levels, worse work-life interference among trainees
