CRC offers training, resources, and community to help build resilience and revolutionize how humans live so that all beings have an opportunity to survive and thrive.
#CollapseResilience is about more than “prepping” your family. It’s about building skills, mutual aid, resources, and resilience in your neighborhood and community. That might seem overwhelming, but you can start with a few simple questions to help you get a baseline and identify areas for action.

Feeling helpless against DHS Stormtroopers and Corporate America? There's plenty you can do!
Want to Stop ICE? Go After Its Corporate Collaborators.
ICE can’t function without help from the private sector. So we should force the private sector to stop helping.

Collapse resilience isn’t just about preparing for the inevitable or protecting our families. It requires that we refuse to normalize harm, stand in solidarity w/ those most impacted (human AND nonhuman) & transform how we live. Ethical living + meaningful action aren't optional amidst collapse.

State-sanctioned violence is only escalating, so if you haven’t yet taken Know Your Rights training & gotten a KYR card for your wallet or bag, do it now. It’s vital to know what to say & do if you’re confronted by ICE or law enforcement. Search online for “know your rights training” & KYR cards.

Publicly showing solidarity w/ just causes & vulnerable communities matters. It affirms our values, inspires others & reminds those being oppressed that they’re not alone. We posted these on our home/car & have gotten others to do likewise. Of course, resistance must go beyond signs & social media.

This is an important example of how we can reclaim some of our collective power and build community resilience. #CollapseResilience
Keeping Power Utilities in Corporate Hands Doesn’t Make Sense
A new study shows that socialist plans to take over the privately owned power utility in New York’s Hudson Valley would lower rates for users and improve its long-term health. Public ownership of…

We humans have created quite a predicament for ourselves & the entire living world. And no magic technology will save us. Only by transforming how we live—such as by creating ethical, interspecies communities founded on justice, liberation, & mutual aid—will we have a chance to survive & thrive.

It’s no wonder our ecological footprints are so high when we’re inculcated from birth to be champions of consumption and waste.

In the US, we blow past the Earth’s overshoot day (when humans exceed what the Earth can regenerate for that year) within the first 10 weeks of the year. 🧵 (1/3)

You’ll never be “done” building collapse resilience, so it’s important to prioritize, set goals, and break everything down into concrete, manageable tasks.

What will you be prioritizing in 2026? ✋🐾🌍💚

Capitalism isn’t going to save us. It’s up to us to revolutionize how we live, including by centering compassion, justice & resilience for all beings & rejecting capitalism, colonialism, white supremacy, patriarchy & human exceptionalism. It won’t be easy, but it’s possible if we make it so.✋🐾🌍💚

Year’s end (or start) is a great time to video everything you own. Open closets, drawers, cabinets, shed, under the bed, porches—narrate as you go. Save files to thumb drives in secure spots (incl. your go-bag). #CollapseResilience = proof when disaster hits.

The question isn’t when collapse starts. It’s:

👉 How do we take action now, while we still can?
👉 How do we support each other in transforming how we live on earth & building resilience in the face of deepening crises?
👉 How do we ensure we don’t leave anyone—human or nonhuman—behind?
✋🐾🌍💚

We’re in the midst of ecological, political, economic, and social collapse, largely because our society is founded on the systemic exploitation and oppression of others and the destruction of our planet for power and profit.🧵

When the need for evacuation happens—wildfires, storms, chemical spills, extended outages—you won’t have time to hunt for essentials. Create an evacuation checklist now: food, water, meds, important documents, ID, pet supplies, phone + chargers, maps, etc., & note where each item is stored.

Despite what politicians/corporations want us to believe, we have enormous power in our choices. This holiday season's a perfect time to subvert the dominant paradigm of overconsumption, extraction & exploitation by creating new ways of living that support compassion, justice & resilience 4 all.

Most of us have far more stuff than we need or use. Purging the superfluous & organizing what remains can make it easier to find emergency supplies, create space for food & water storage, free up money & reduce stress. It also supports lower-impact living & mutual aid. Start small & go from there.

In our daily routines, it's crucial to consider "what if's" & plan accordingly. For example, we ensure our pets' water dishes are filled before we leave the house so they have enough water until help arrives if something unexpected happens to us. What other small what if’s should we all plan for?

To have any hope of surviving and thriving amidst collapse, we must liberate ourselves (and each other) from the harmful habits we’ve been taught since birth, including our food choices. 🧵(1/5)

We don’t like thinking about emergencies: accidents, sudden illness, even state violence. But if something happens, you want others to be able to help. Make an emergency info list for your fridge: your contacts, key family info, who has house keys, who cares for your animals/kids, executor, etc.

Part of #CollapseResilience is learning new skills. We’ve enjoyed the book Fermenter: DIY Fermentation for Vegan Fare by Aaron Adams & Liz Crain. They do a great job of covering basic ingredients, equipment, and techniques. And the book includes a variety of interesting recipes. Give it a skim!

Part of #CollapseResilience is reducing risk. Animal farming is not only cruel to animals, but it’s a major driver of zoonotic disease, an intensive user/polluter of water & land, & a leading force behind ecological collapse—from deforestation to biodiversity loss to the climate crisis.🧵 (1/2)

Mutual aid and liberation—for humans and nonhuman animals—are key to collapse resilience. Where have you seen (or participated in) meaningful mutual aid projects?✋🐾🌍💚

Lots of folks are traveling & gathering this week—prime time for COVID, flu & other bugs to spread. Vaccines, clean air, testing & staying home when sick all help & masking remains one of the simplest, strongest tools. Masks save lives! Mask up to protect yourself & others. 😷💚

This week kicks off a firestorm of overconsumption. Even “shop local” assumes unsustainable levels of consumption. Our choices either support compassion, justice & resilience—or fuel exploitation.

#CollapseResilience means living in ways that do the most good/least harm for all beings.
