Two months ago, @PSRColorado, @sierraclubco, and @fractracker dropped a bombshell report showing most companies violated rules requiring chemical disclosures for downhole operations since July 2023. Operators are finally submitting their chemical disclosures, albeit 100s of days late.

Weld County reported 1,407 oil spills in 2024. In April 2025, a record-breaking 225 spills were reported to the ECMC. Weld County Now sees 6 new spills every day.

But ... the ECMC only inspected 28.7% of Weld County's oil & gas wells in the last 12 months.
