With so many wonderful community events this year like the Mayor's Ride and the Great River Ride, our amazing group of volunteers, and the major progress the City of Westfield has made on projects to make the community more bike and pedestrian friendly, we have a lot to be thankful for this year.

Check out this fun event! Join a solar system walk, led by project creators Kaitlynn and Krystyna Goulette, on a one-mile walk through a scale model of the solar system. The walk starts on Saturday, November 29th at 12pm at the top of the Main Street Ramp of the Columbia Greenway.

The Great River Ride, legendary for its rural New England fall foliage and its baked potato rest stop, rolls out of Westfield on Sunday, Oct 12. Proceeds benefit the @columbiagreenway.org and their railtrail.

Today is a perfect day to explore the eastern side of the Westfield River Greenway, with sweeping views of the Westfield River, connecting at Meadow Street on both ends.
Construction is still underway but the project is expected to wrap up very soon!

Our pollinator gardens along the Westfield River Esplanade are doing quite well this summer, and are providing some important resources for our local pollinator insects to keep our local ecosystem healthy and happy!
