This was a special feature on the original Spider-Man DVD; I watched it when I was maybe eleven, and it blew my mind, particularly seeing John Romita Jr’s work, which I found WILDLY cinematic. It made me pick up those comics and then try my darndest to practice drawing all the time!!! ☺️☺️☺️

I have read Spidey Blue, all of the original Ultimate Spidey, the first run of Straczynski and JRJR (seven volumes), and some others here and there, but what are the BIG ones?

I genuinely cannot believe that there was basically NO TIME AT ALL between MJ saying “Yes” to Peter and then getting married. It was like the very next issue. Could NEVER be modern comics. I don’t even know that I like that 😂 But I love their love!

One of the main things that pisses me off about Quesada’s assertion that Peter Parker is less “relatable” when he is married is that, if anything, superheroes were designed to be *aspirational*. They were people we wanted to be! Who wouldn’t want to fall in love and get to hold onto that forever?
