Please don't put muzac on whilst speaking... It's not only unnecessary, some folks struggle to separate the sounds, making it hard to concentrate on the spoken words. I realise this has become a popular thing to do, and whilst it helps create 'mood' in a film, it's a shit thing to do whilst talking.

I feel there's a widely held presumption that this somehow just happened, that Grok did this of its own accord. When the fact is, people at the company actively coded this capacity into the AI. Why are they being given a free pass on this? Would anyone else, or other institution, get off like this?

It's something second-wave feminists have been focussed on addressing, making extraordinary progress in the face of a powerful headwind. However, there is a selection of them who, with incredible callousness and idiocy, have been attacking other victims of this mindset rather than the perpetrators.

I have been pejoratively accused of being too 'girlie' many times in my life. It was always framed as a bad thing, because they think that 'being a girl is weakness'. This is a perspective which has dominated our society, and still persists as an undercurrent even in progressive circles.
