The oppressive social attitudes that existed pre-capitalism, can still exist in a transition socialist state. The domination of capital by the masses objectively will increase the material conditions of all oppressed people, but does automatically dismantle un/conscious biases/discrimination

The reforms won by the working class under capitalism can be revoked at anytime by the ruling class. It is why social democracy will decay back into capitalism unless that capital is dominated by the working class. Even then capitalists will bide their time seeking to reassert their domination.
