It's all various kinds of suffering! But with writing, once I'm out of the pulling-teeth stage, it feels good. I have never once exited the pulling-teeth stage of drawing.

I have a gender neutral name and people get SO WEIRD about it. I've also felt that sudden abrupt change in respect when they realize I'm not a man. AND people will start changing the spelling of my name to match the gender they'd prefer to be talking to.

I have a friend who had weird insane stalkerish haters who were making threats about what they'd do when they ran into my friend at a con IRL, but when it happened, they all instantly wilted the moment anyone breathed in their direction.
It still fucking sucks tho :\ it's just SHIPPING.

YEAH it's insane to be a fan to be into GK but to get fucking mad that someone acknowledges what is undeniably textual about Tsuruusa. But it's easy to be a loud hater online esp when it requires no effort or risk. People are overwhelmingly cowards irl.

IF IT HELPS ANY 99% of people who think you're evil or w/e will NOT approach you in public to say anything, and most people will simply look at your nice art and go oh shit nice art! and then buy it if they like it.

And I LOVE when a character is given an off-ramp and chooses not to take it b/c they would have to destroy their entire worldview in order to have love/acceptance, and they would rather be alone but right in their own mind.

Genuine answer: I love a character that is incredibly proficient in a few areas, and a mess in others, but doesn't seem to realize it. I also love a character with a very distorted worldview who desperately seeks validation from all the wrong places.

VTT is so fucking humbling. I use it a lot when texting or replying to people because my natural conversational patterns fit in pretty well. But I have yet to write more than a few sentences without needing major editing.
