I had been watching this specimen for weeks now, waiting for it to flower. I found it in Lower Moyamensing, the only area where I have seen them in the past. I need to scour the immediate area for more specimens.

Let me know if you think I am wrong on the identification.

While Frost Aster is by far the dominant Symphyotrichum in the city, I very occasionally see another species. I've decided that this one, shot over the last week, is almost certainly Panicled Aster (Symphyotrichum lanceolatum).
