#hobbystreak 147. Started by painting the undersides of the remaining tanks. I then spent a bit of time putting infantry onto lolly sticks using double sided tape. This will hopefully make batch painting them a lot easier. #epicwarpath

#hobbystreak 146. Steady progress on the vehicles for my #EpicWarpath GCPS. I was hoping to get them finished today but obviously that didn't happen. I'm wondering if I might need to add a splash of colour to this colour scheme.

They are both really cool. I agree that the Lady Olynder one is the best. It's a shame that the competition banner doesn't appear when I log into MyWarhammer though 😢

I always used to look at the Havok stuff in Woolworths on my way home from school. Unfortunately, I never bought any. Well, not until a few years ago when I found the Skirmish starter box in a charity shop in mint condition. Still not opened the box though as it seems wrong when it's still sealed.

I would not be surprised if Bad-Enoch was ousted by the end of the year. Unfortunately the likely successor is Jenrick who is even more contemptible (although possibly more competent as a leader of the opposition).

#hobbystreak 144. Last night was the start of the climatic battle of our #DnD campaign arc. It was a really nail biter at times and filled with wonderful chaos. The session ended with the battle entering its second phase, the villain reappearing, now imbued with demonic power!

The new Space Marine heads have certainly stirred up a storm online. Personally I'm ok with femarines, but I'm also not going to push for it. I suspect this release is GW testing the waters for a lore update (yes update, not retcon). #warhammercommunity

#hobbystreak 143. A little bit of prep for tomorrow's D&D session. Everything was already done I just wanted to review a couple of things. I also picked out a few bits on my Deadzone GCPS troops. They need a lot of tidying up before they are finished but I at least have my colour scheme settled.

#hobbystreak 142. Lots of Epic Warpath hobbying done today. Lancer tank turrets all magnetised, Mule transports assembled, infantry etc separated out for painting and finished scraping the mold lines off the bases.

#hobbystreak 141. I finished assembling the model for Secret Santa (into subassemblies at least and I need to get some more magnets to finish it). I have also written 1000 point lists for my GCPS and Veermyn so I can learn to play Epic Warpath. Lastly I've been planning a Mordheim terrain project.

#hobbystreak 140. I said I wouldn't but today I started magnetising the turrets on my GCPS tanks for Epic Warpath. I also did some skin colour tests for my Orks. I need to get one more paint to try before I definitely decide on what to go with.

#hobbystreak 138. I painted my character mini for an upcoming festive #dnd campaign. I even tried doing non-metallic metal on the weapon.

#hobbystreak 137. No D&D last night, so we played Zombicide instead. It was a very silly game with nearly 300 zombies killed. It was nice to get the games off the shelf for the time in ages.

#hobbystreak 136. Finished making the floating islands and prepped everything I need for the finale of our D&D story arc. Only to have to cancel it as one player can't make it and we would like to have everyone there for the battle. Bloody typical. I also read some more of the Epic Warpath rulebook.
