As much as I love Moleskine sketchbooks, I find the larger sketchbooks cumbersome when you have limited space to draw. Friday I chopped off the stitched spine, finished the raw edges of the cover, and wire-bound it today.

I closed the shop on my website, it's about to renew but prices for the e-commerce package has doubled. 2 years ago I was charged about 420 for 2 years, now it's over 800, I can't justify the expense, for now my Sketch Card listing is at Ko-Fi. ko-fi.com/s/8ae7396156

Dominic had his cardiologist appt. He's normal. I'm relieved.

All buckled in his carrierin the back seat of the car, the cardiologist was an hour away, he did really well on the way and back.

On the way home we stopped to pick up dinner, husband went in and I changed the pee pads for Dominic, I felt around on him and couldn't find where they shaved him, by the time we got home I forgot to get a better look til this morning.

Good morning! Dominic did wonderful over night again! He ate and used the litter box. This morning he actually came down off his little shelf to greet me with some sweet meows and purrs which absolutely warmed my heart!! This little man is a just gem of a kitty! <3

So this AM he is reading at 0.5!! That means he is able to come home today! Looking at my schedule, I am thinking a discharge around 230-3pm would work. Does that time frame work for you?

This is what I walk into this AM!! I love him!

His morning reading was 1.3 and his evening reading was .9, she said she'll know by tomorrow's readings when he'll be able to go home. Full update is in the ALT Pic text.

I didn't get an update this morning, or this afternoon, I texted and she called me to give an update over the phone. She said that he's eating and drinking well, and using the litter box, he's not so scared, he accepted head scritches and even purred a little. His morning reading was 1.3 and his evening reading was .9, she said she'll know by tomorrow's readings when he'll be able to go home.

Dominic update: You can see from his expression that he's scared, but it makes me happy that he ate his food and used the potty.

"Dominic did great overnight! He ate all his food and used the litter box! He's still a bit scared of us (which is so understandable!!) and was in his little hidey hole this am. He is getting his individualized injection this afternoon around 1 pm. He read at a 1.0 this AM which is great. I will have another reading tomorrow morning and should have a good idea of when he'll be able to come home!"

This morning dropped Dominic off at the vet this morning for his Radioactive Iodine treatment. Spent a good amount of time with staff discussing treatment and aftercare.

So, pet portrait and sketch card commissions will stay open for the time being.
