Many residents have contacted me about the quality of the A500 resurfacing, with some even reporting vehicle damage. I’ve raised these concerns with Cheshire East Council, and welcome their commitment to holding the contractor responsible - at no cost to the taxpayer.

Fantastic to join St Michael's in celebrating their new solar panels this morning ☀️

I was so impressed with the pupils' knowledge of sustainability and their ideas to save energy for future generations 💡

You never know what people are going through, and in an increasingly polarised world, let's always remember to treat each other with care and respect ❤️

Good to catch up with Stuart Mackay this afternoon at the #TimeToTalk drop in

Period products are essential, not optional. No one should have to miss out on work, school, or daily life because they can’t afford them.

That’s why I’m proud to support Period Power’s mission and commit to becoming a Period Dignity Employer, ensuring products are available in my office

🔻 ICYMI 🔻

Last week, I shared my January newsletter, packed with updates on the #ConnectCrewe campaign, Haslington connectivity issues, and my Small Business of the Month.

There's also a spotlight on casework and a campaign to tackle postal delays in Crewe and Nantwich.

Catch up here 👇🏼

It was great to welcome all my constituency staff team down to Parliament yesterday.

They're all working so hard on your behalf, tackling hundreds of cases every month and running campaigns on issues that matter to you.

I've been out with my team speaking to residents in the Sandringham Dr area of Wistaston this morning.

Lots of people who don't usually vote Labour telling me they appreciate the work we're doing in Crewe and Nantwich, and that support drives me on.

Thank you to everyone we spoke to!

Disappointed to hear that NatWest will be closing its branch in Nantwich on 19th June. While banking habits are changing, local branches remain essential for many, especially older residents and small businesses who rely on in-person services.

Loved visiting Camm Street Gymnastics this morning to see the fantastic work they do in our community.

Local clubs like this play such an important role in keeping kids active, building confidence, and fostering a love for sport 🤸🏼

Pleased to attend the ASDA Cashpot for Schools drop-in this week. Nearly £5.8m raised, including £11,016 for schools in Crewe and Nantwich 🏫

Thank you to everyone for participating!

Our fantastic third sector organisations across Crewe provide hot meals and company throughout the week.

If you need a little support, don't struggle alone. Whether you need help putting food on the table or you're just lonely and need somewhere to go, reach out and make use of available support

Been out doorknocking on Adelaide Street this afternoon. Good to listen to residents about issues around Anti-Social Behaviour, parking and the state of the roads.

It's important to me that I keep in touch with you all year round, not just at election time!

On Holocaust Memorial Day, we remember the six million Jews murdered by the Nazi regime.

We are reminded that we must strengthen our commitment against hatred in all forms and those who seek to harness it for political gain.

My monthly e-newsletter will be out next week, updating you on what I've been doing representing Crewe and Nantwich.

It was a privilege to attend the annual Battle of Nantwich commemorations (otherwise known as Holly Holy Day) in Nantwich today on the 381st anniversary of this historic battle during the first English Civil war.

A huge congratulations to all the volunteers who make this event happen!

The Fireworks Bill brought forward by Sarah Owen last week is a step in the right direction, and it's disappointing it wasn't put up to a vote.

What it has done is open up an important debate and brought the campaign forward into our political discourse.

Fantastic to join the Environment Agency this morning to restock the River Weaver 🐟

River pollution has been a concern of mine for a number of years, and it's great to see progress in restoring the Weaver to better health 🏞️
