Kimmy and I fully finished both Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and DK Bananza over the weekend. Guess I haven't played many 2025 games but these are definitely my top two

the NG+ changes will be welcomed by me. Very mixed feelings about having to replay the game for the full story & "real" endings (im assuming anyway, not seen yet) but the game's good enough for me to want to see it through
Thank you to all SILENT HILL f players for your patience. Today we've released a patch that adds a new casual difficulty and addresses feedback we've received, including reducing the amount of forced combat areas, speeding up NG+ runs, and bug fixes such as Sakuko's diary in NG+.

It's always really frustrating when the topic of 'gatekeeping' comes up since I always sense this undercurrent of entitlement. as if those complaining are owed other people's limited practice time. it kinda proves to me that a lot of people don't understand how improvement usually works imo

finished Metroid Prime Hunters, really fun game besides the awkward controls making my hands hurt but idk how else they could have done it. The stylus for looking around felt pretty natural though
Also the hunters were cool!
Def got the itch for Prime 4 now, can't wait for it :)

i can only assume Pokemon games still give you useless dialogue options as a way to have your character converse without using text boxes, if that makes sense. like it maintains the "silent protagonist" facade
because otherwise why are they still doing this, it's so pointless 😭
