For most other properties with large fan bases, at least to my experience, have taken their concepts to the farthest extreme, but for some reason that blue fucker can be mangled and twisted, and you can be confident in assuming someone else hasn’t done it before. Or, at least executed it similarly.

I really don’t care what sega is doing with the franchise nowadays. Hot take I know.

I like sonic because of how far you can go with turning the ideas already there into your own thing. The “plans” I have imagined in my head haven’t been done before and that’s fascinating to me.

Genuinely though, it surprises me how much untapped potential there is with sonic fan games. My main intrigue as of late is that you can do whatever you want with them.

I have my own interpretations on sonic stuff that sega wouldn’t ever tamper with using a 10 foot pole, and I can just. Do that.
