Oh I guess i doubled it again by accident, but he’ll do it by next week anyway so…
Imagine if this situation was reversed & we were all worn out from the fire hose of good news. Federal agents flooding cities to sign people up for services they need. Supreme Court strengthening voting rights. Taco trucks & abortion clinics on every corner.
But we have $80 billion for a foreign country.

My parents both have important appointments coming up. Will they be able to go? Who knows, but Argentina is doing great!!!!
I know it’s quaint of me, but I think it would be cool if things sucked less in general? I guess I just think i would enjoy that. It sounds nice.

Frog and Toad were sad for a while.

Then Frog said, “Toad, here is what you must do. Tonight when you go to bed, you must think some very big thoughts. Those big thoughts will make your head grow larger. In the morning your new hat may fit.”
A close up of Toad, his head swallowed by his giant hat, and Frog, who appears to have a solution to Toad's problem.

show me somebody more ready to overthrow the government on a good day than a sixth-grade reading teacher, I dare you
Believe me, I really hope he does the work to prove me wrong! I don’t want to feel this way, but he red-flagged himself for me on this one. I’ve just dealt with too many dudes like this & I can’t trust him the way I’d like to.
It’s the instinctual naming of a bunch of white guys, including the other Senator from MA and not a single woman or person of color. And, for me, leaving Warren off also signals a likelihood he’s one of the ‘Warren stole Sanders’ presidency shot’ lefties, which is extremely not good in my books.
I’m so angry & disappointed I’m shaking. Fuck that guy for not being better than this.
I do NOT trust men whose instinct is to ignore the existence of women. That comes from a lifetime of experience, so the level of work that dude has to do to convince me he isn’t an untrustworthy ass who will throw marginalized people under the bus at the drop of a hat is A LOT.
Leaving Elizabeth Warren off your list in favor of JOSH HAWLEY is a fucking choice & I will not be fucking letting it go.

Please tell me there’s another good primary candidate who I can actually have a modicum of trust in. Jesus christ.
I just got noise canceling headphones for the first time & despite being on the cheaper end, they are kind of miraculous. I wish I’d had some ages ago. So many sanity points restored.
Not a single woman, but definitely Josh Hawley. Awesome. I was hoping he wasn’t one of *those* leftist dudes, but apparently he is. Fucking hell.
"Smoking outside after the town hall, Platner rattled off some current U.S. senators who he admires: Independent Bernie Sanders, and Democrats Chris Van Hollen, Brian Schatz, Sheldon Whitehouse, Ed Markey. On the other side of the aisle, Josh Hawley of Missouri."

This belly is Not A Trap. Just get all up in there and snorgle the belly to your heart’s content.

Yes, you should be surprised and horrified by secret federal police running around our city kidnapping immigrants, crashing cars, launching chemical weapons and shooting and killing people. This is a thing you should be *perpetually* shocked by. We lose when we become numb to it.
Ah, I found one. Which I cannot listen to, because apparently it is only available in the UK. But they let me listen to a sample so I know what I am missing. Thank you. Very helpful.
I sense that there is a perfect audiobook out there that would scratch my mental itch, but alas I have not hit on it yet. Which sucks, because I can’t really do anything else & a good story would help a lot.
Not too bad otherwise - I’m completely exhausted, but not super achey or miserable.

I do have an exhausted restlessness though, which is mainly manifesting as not being able to settle on an audiobook because none of them is ‘right’. So I’m basically in toddler mode.
You really need to move your arm around a lot right after you get this years Covid shot - it seems like a particularly sore one.

Original seascape oil painting by Tisha Mark, "Lighting the Dark" 20"x20" oil on linen (2025). This moody, abstract-leaning seascape painting has a textured, orange-toned, atmospheric sky with textured colors of light on the horizon. Light from the sky reflects in the water below as it meets a dark, rocky, tree-lined coast. Original seascape oil painting by Tisha Mark, "Knowing Glances" 7"x5" oil on Ampersand Gessobord (2025). This painting has white textured clouds in a moody gray-blue sky over a dark blue sea that is meeting a rocky shore. There are delightful bits of green moss and red algae or seaweed on the rocks. Original autumn landscape oil painting by Tisha Mark, "Autumn Mini No. 2501" 4"x4" oil on Ampersand Gessobord (2025). The painting shows a body of water reflecting colors from a sunset sky surrounded by trees that are turning red, brown, and gold. Original seascape oil painting by Tisha Mark, "We Met Along the Way" 14"x11" oil on Ampersand Gessobord (2025). A seascape painting with a gray-blue sky with textured, atmospheric cloud formations over a dark blue sea. Waves are meeting a rocky shore, and there are hints of green moss or algae on the rocks.
