Throughout my struggle with my chronic illness, Whatever potential outcome, positive or catastrophic, he has not flinched a single time and always responded with strength, calm and appropriate ferocity to carry me through to the other side and that is something that I cherish deeply.

I seriously had a smooth flat space with a gnarly reddened scar around the edges for months. I started telling people I was

test and procedure. I ended up having a pretty major abdominal surgery caused by poorly controlled Crohn’s disease and when I came out of surgery I was swollen, aching, bruised and ranting about how the surgeon stole my belly button.

On Halloween, our anniversary. We gave the tickets to a couple who were members of the satanist group we were active with at the time. This was a hard time for me to be debilitated in the hospital but I have never felt such safety and security as having my husband beside me through every single
