At least 40 people were killed in the U.S. attack on Venezuela early Saturday, including military personnel and civilians, according to a senior Venezuelan official.

Trump is making a lot of ambitious promises regarding Venezuela. But its current government is still in place, and are not cooperating publicly. Hard to see how any promise of Trump's can be achieved right now given those facts.

Mike Lee says Marco Rubio told him the US govt does not anticipate more action in Venezuela. Seems unlikely that simply capturing Maduro and his wife is going to end the Chavista dictatorship on its own.

Awoke in the Bella Vista neighborhood of Panama City, which has a large Venezuelan population, to shouts of "Venezuela Libre!" and "Se acabó!" (It's over!)
Worth saying though, the Chavista regime there didn't depend on Maduro as a charismatic leader.
