in Japanese they speak like a (somewhat) normal person, there is no reason to fill every single pause with dialogue, same for portuguese.

People always joke about how early anime characters are always overexplaining everything, i never thought about it and just took it for granted, until now, i decided to rewatch classic fma while working and while switching between PT/EN and JP i noticed that it ONLY happens in English dubs

oh yeah, i forgot there were two versions.
the european version is actually the superior one tho.
the US version just ends after the main boss is beaten, the European one, that came a few months later, have some post main quest content.

but the bizarre thing is, beneath all of this, there it IS a good game inside of it, its like a 20 years old diamond in the rough, if it was remade nowadays with a better leveling system and better mission design it would definitely be one of the best digimon games.

the amount of backtracking is also headache inducing, someone stitched the maps together to show the amount of backtracking necessary to finish one of the main missions

this is the amount of hours it took the auto battle to reach level 20 with all three starters, something REQUIRED for you to reach certain parts of the game
i literally didnt play the game, I just started, put it into grind mode and left it, i tried to make it easier by going to grind specific spots

i used to play this game a lot as a kid, it was a lot of fun back then, so i decided to put the big boy pant and finally beat it... it's ROUGH.
i think that's the grindiest game i've ever played in my entire life.
its so grindy i had to use my controller macros to auto battle the grind for me.

was playing Silent Hill F and was struggling with a boss and the game asked if i wanted to lower the difficulty, and I feel like the game straight up called me a bitch lmao
