Wonton is my fav chick. Super friendly but seems to get picked on a lot. Mama even after her more than the others though she kicked all the chicks to the curb finally.😅
Buff Brahma x Lav Orp roo mix yet no feet feathers! I hope to get Lavs from her in the future by line breeding.🥰

Saw this little dude dancing before the chickens did and went to investigate. I assume a mating dance or maybe just fun.😆

Doesn't fly well.
Found on the ground but no nest I could find. Made it a spot out of reach in the coop for the night w/F+W before the T.storm. Sleeping in the nest when checked so should be fine till morning.

Been a day of random birds. That aren't chickens. 😁😉
Several of these Morning doves have been waltzing into the coop during the day.😅

The potatoes are growing so big!
Pretty sure we got a lot of roos but at least Wonton seems to be a hen.😅 Snowball feathering in dark grey with that bright red comb standing out.😭 Waiting to see what Squid turns out to be but it's still thriving.💖

Squid is thriving! Little dude is like 1/3 the size of the month olds & the smallest of the smalls. Even short grass is tall for him.🤣🥰

Squid is eating & drinking on its own!💖
Was crying constantly & had a poo plug to clean. Got more damp then intended so blowdryer time. Helped fluff the hatch goo off and I think being drysticky was the main issue it was crying. Probably pulling it's feathers like hairgel.😅

Little Eggroll is doing really well! Already getting wing feathers, so hoping hen. Faster feathering typically means girl but we'll see.

7 more eggs hatched from the early chic's bunch. 6 are Nootnoot early Eggroll is a Boot and this 1 is probably Parmesan. Meet Squid, super scrunkley not drying right didn't fully absorb the yolk but has a very strong peep. Dropper vitamins multiple times a day and hope for the best.

I feel that so hard. I wash it daily so they aren't drinking poo. Their survival instincts are great for everything other than don't poo in your water.😅
They are still super cute though.😮‍💨🤭😆

Stills of the fluff circle. The one chic is getting a blue/purple sheen unless my eyes are tricking me. Suspected mom has more of a green sheen so idk where this color is coming from. Excited to see if it keeps it!🥰

Eggroll, the 4 day early incubator chick, is a super trooper. Its holding it's own while out with the big kids. It has learned fast but does get tired faster so I keep a very close eye while they get out time.

Had 1 incubator egg hatch a few days earler than expected. It's very attached to my hand. I hope the others hatch soon for company but I'll send as much time with it as I can.🥺
