DID is a lot more than just having alters. It's amnesia and forgetting half your life and the people you love, it's derealization, it's complex PTSD, it's emotional disregulation, it's scary sometimes and it's confusing. It's far more complex than just alters.

Anyone have tips on getting through a PTSD episode? It felt like it was happening again and I couldn't bare it so I took two Benadryl to knock myself out so I couldn't live through it again. Is there a better way? There's got to be
