With this upcoming project, I want to be sure I'm reaching as many people as I can. To that end I ::shudder:: opened Twitter today for the first time in about 10 months. But this project is gonna cost me a bundle, so I'm gonna be asking for some community support, so every connection counts. <3

I so enjoy having the time to cook a meal at home. Tonight was a variation on Gibelotte, a staple of our childhood dinners. Usually it was ground beef with mushrooms and green peppers, or ground beef with stewed tomatoes, almost always served over mashed potato.

This was one of the most amazing times of my life. It also taught a lesson: Be honest (but always kind) with people. Just tell them the actual facts. Don't add, don't omit. It will save so much hurt and resentment later on when someone discovers the truth.
