An all-time favourite of y'all: my take on "Ophelia". Seeing how old this piece is (it's been effin' 14 years already ...) there is a lot I would do differeynt today, but I think it doesn't take away of the impact this picture has.

Her palms are raised out of if the water in a gesture quoting the "Ophelia" painting by John Millais. Different flowers float next to her on the water's surface. While the rest of the image is rendered rather realistically, her hair underwater is way more stylized, with golden strains interwoven into it.
