Hi. I'm Dag. This is my personal account. It's been sitting idle for a little and it's time I actually put it to use.

I've made a new years resolution to make a video game, like I've tried countless times. To that end, I'll be using this account to post daily updates.

Ive come to a pretty hard decision due to technical limitations: the "forced capture of as many pieces as possible" rule of international draughts has to be dropped. The simulation parts are simply too complex.

Sadly, I AM getting stuff done, but since it's refactoring code, it's not particularly exciting.

I think I'm nearly done and can get to the more interesting parts soon, at least. Game boots, but attack moves are bugged.

I can delay no further. I need to start finalizing controls. The issues related to Castling are related to the fact that you can't actually decide what to do if you have multiple types of moves available to you.
