Tony Fitzpatrick offered to design this book cover, for free, for a fledgling press. Then he made and signed 100 posters we offered with preorders. RIP to a man who lived such a generous and meaningful life.

I am supposed to make dinner at home, with a friend coming by, but I am lost on what to make.

I had a vague idea of trying out an old school Chicken Marbella but might be too late if it truly needs an overnight marinade.

Friend can't do spicy.

Our big fundraising cocktail hour for the local historic place I care about? Tickets sold out, I increased the capacity, and they just sold out again. Feels good.

(Now I just have to stress about actually putting the event on)

I asked my pawpaw connect for ideas.

"Ice cream. I also like it on raw tuna with a dash of hot sauce. Mixed with yogurt is good too. Also good as duck topping, [or] stuffing pork chops with pawpaw and five spice."

Dude is a gourmand. I wasn't thinking about savory applications.
