The ensuing calm corresponded to Ahmose I's adolescence and his training as a warrior. However, it would take him another decade after Minnakht's death to regain control of Avaris.
The "Way of Horus" was therefore probably not operational until after 1520 BC, when he laid siege to Sharuhen.

Although ongoing discoveries are clarifying the extent of the 'Way of Horus', precise dating is difficult to establish. It is certain, however, that before Ahhotep's regency, the Nile Delta was Hyksos territory until their fall "by themselves" according to Kamose.

His own words describing Ahhotep's regency show his non-involvement:
"The one who performed the rites and took care of Egypt. She watched over her troops and protected them. She brought back her fugitives and rounded up her deserters. She pacified Upper Egypt and drove out the rebels" Ahmose I.

In his year 9, Ahmose I was about 18 year old with a minor experience of war. The 'Way of Horus' fortresses were therefore not yet a reality around 1530 BC, more than a decade after the first mention of an attack in the Rhind Papyrus.

L'église Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Couture est fondée par les sergents d'armes de la garde de saint Louis, qui pose la première pierre du couvent en 1229 et le dote de revenus.
L'ordre du Val-des-Écoliers dont Sainte-Catherine est la patronne dispose à Paris d'un collège et d'une chaire à l'université.

In addition to the porosity of biochar and its absorption capacity useful for water retention, it also offers a large useful surface area for the bacterial film where a crucial phase of the nitrogen cycle, nitrification, takes place.
