Popped by the student protest yesterday. Kids did a great job!
Okay I am curious what he wants the ground floor to be used for.
Teachers you have come so far. Please keep fighting for Alberta’s kids!

It’s time for all Albertians to get loud!

To change everything we need everyone!

My only current observation is the Guess Who characters could be used to show the diversity.
I wonder where will the water come from to cool these?

What do the three locations have in common?

They all have speed limits of 50km/h or higher. At that speed the risk of fatality is almost 80%.

3rd person in 2 days killed by cars. Our hearts go out to their friends and family :(

The crime wave continues unabated... it's so disturbing that leaders are choosing to ignore this #yyccc #roadsafety www.ctvnews.ca/calgary/arti...

This should be treated like the crisis that it clearly is.

If any other act of violence killed 3 people in 2 days in Calgary it would be front page news.

perfect example of the bias @drtaragoddard.com writes about.

Instead of discussing "stranger danger" with my kids I go on endlessly about cars

The two spikes in CO2? Elevator rides...reason I still wear mask in public elevators (and restrooms)...
Central Alberta’s water is evaporating away. What use to be a full lake is now water with a wide shore line. The moist earth is not supportive past the last rooted vegetation. How will the animals drink?

The final row in the count up to 350,000 riders on Calgary’s 5 St SW Cycle track is complete as of today Oct 6, 2025.

There are 86 days left this year, meaning the cycle track has had an average of 1,255 riders/day.

That sounds like a successful and well used cycle track! 😀

This is the other side of my sign.
I’m so mad I started carrying this sign around with me where ever I went last week. When I am not out and about it’s in my front window.
You too can carry a sign or put it in your window. Funding education should not be controversial.
The way someone can profit from.

As of today, there is one LED row left on the progress tracker at 5 St SW cycle track.

At this pace it will max out by Oct 10 with 82 days left in the year. 🤔

When the counter runs out with still a quarter of the year left, it’s obviously above expected utilization! 🤔

📚✏️ At Bathtub Bikes, we believe in stronger communities, and that starts with supporting our teachers. Education funding matters! let’s cut the excuses, not the classrooms. Proud to stand with the Alberta Teachers’ Association 💛 #YYC
I am really impressed with the temporary basketball ball court set up in the new Eau Claire plaza. What a great way to activate the space between events. Also the trampoline at the adjacent park is lots of fun!

Pedestrians, and drivers are human, we all make mistakes. In other jurisdictions when there is an accident they fix the design of the problem area. Let’s build a city where mistakes are not fatal.
- Reduce speed limits
- Divide modes of transportation with physical barriers not paint

People are dying in record numbers on Calgary roads.

In 2024, 13 pedestrians and 16 motorists were killed on Calgary roads. The highest in a decade.

We need to work together to stop this, make better choices and put safety first.

Wondering if there are any energy leaders that are looking to see if there is a way to transition this NG infrastructure into something that would not only help with adaptation but also mitigation?
