Delivering Loose Parts and Den-building Training this morning in Cardiff
First rainy day for a good while. All set up ready for nursery ‘stay and play’ sessions.

Today is about habitats and introducing our Family National Outdoor Learning Award.

Some bird watching in family learning today lots of discussions about those behaviours and names. Missed the Eagle flying past though !
New Welsh lambs getting ready for the first -4 overnight temps !
Massive send off for South Wales outdoor legend that was Bill Beynon today. Good to see a fitting tribute for such a great person that he was.
Good to catch up with old friends from way back too.
Family learning today and one on one with dad and a fire steel. What could be more perfect - apart from it was raining hard. But shelter under the canopy kept the session going. Games with willow made hoops was a great success.

Dry weather forecast this week, I wonder how many learners are going to challenge, flex, and build these skills over the next 5 days!?

Visited the house where I grew up and got invited in for a tour round. Wow that brought some memories flooding back.
Went back to Norfolk and revisited my childhood. My old schools which have in some changed but at most still the same.
We cut up some lovely lengths of windblown oak this weekend.
Some star gazing events this month.
