I tried something new and then after a week or so I'd be like "ok I like this but I don't like that" so then I try something new that's more of what I like, and less of what I don't.

So maybe for your eating you can find a calorie dense food and just have a small portion, rather than a full meal.

I know how you feel, except I'm the opposite. I'm trying to lose weight and I stress eat or binge eat when really down. It's frustrating, but I think the best thing is to trial and error what works for you. Try something new and then analyze what was good or bad, and further adjust it for YOU.
