Also a sports performance coach. Weird combo, right?
My favorite soccer team has Aubrey Kingsbury, and I love that for me 🙌

Momentary return to social to post this incredible story by @jourdanrodrigue.bsky.social about Logan Paulsen and the TE position.

It captures the essence of Logan, his love of football, and who he is. Absolutely loved reading a story by my friend about my friend.

Personal news - today will be my last show on @team980.bsky.social.

In many ways this show has been a dream come true, and I wouldn’t be leaving if I wasn’t pursuing something even bigger. I will announce what that is at 4pm today.

Thank you everyone for listening over the years. See you at 4!

Trinity Rodman is inevitable.

Whatever your list of clutch athletes is, she’s on it. Comes back after months off and scores a go ahead goal in stoppage time? It’s both expected and unbelievable all at the same time.

VAMOS SANTOS 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

This game is unhinged. And between the NWSL Final and this game, clearly Leicy has had enough of Marta 😂😂😂
August 2, 2025 at 11:38 PM
I mean at this point this feels like a threat as much as a wish!
sorry marta is never allowed to retire, ever
August 2, 2025 at 11:27 PM
Marta. Of course. Who else?! What an absolutely silly game of soccer.

This is why this sport rocks when you’re a neutral and is the absolute bane of your existence when you root for a side 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Hello. It's me. Someone who has been very quiet for the last month as he did way too much traveling. But I am back, and I come with gifts!

First, I'm back on the radio today and will go very deep into the Terry contract situation, and talk about the RFK vote. Also...

Just when I thought I've heard the dumbest possible take on this situation....*stares blankly into the void*

I mean this is so stupid, I literally had to turn the sound on for the clip to make sure he wasn't misquoted or out of context. I just. Wow.

Another home run by the Harris group retiring Art Monk’s number.

Not only an incredible player, but a phenomenal person who is often forgotten because of his quiet nature. Congrats 81, a number that rightfully will never be worn by anyone in burgundy & gold ever again.

Question for the people because I do not understand:

Currently on a plane, stuck at my departure gate because of weather. Why would they have put us on the plane, knowing we can’t take off?

Also, what are the rules on letting us off the plane/cancelling/etc?
July 14, 2025 at 10:34 PM
I don’t know which league started the trend of not showing replays on challenges when you’re at a game but it’s gotta stop.

The people who have the least idea of what’s going on in a game shouldn’t be the people there. It passes absolutely no logic test.
July 8, 2025 at 5:44 PM
This game is being officiated in a way that’s VERY favorable to OKC.

They’re letting a lot go. Extremely physical. It’s not uneven. It’s not biased. It’s not bad. It’s just much more up the Thunder’s alley, and Indiana needs to find a way to get a flow through all that contact or they are toast.
June 17, 2025 at 1:10 AM
There’s literally no wind up, follow through, or non-basketball play.

That’s an absolute joke of a flagrant call. The techs are fine to control the game, but that in no way to any human with eyes and an understanding of the English language does that meet the criteria for a flagrant foul.

All the things said in yesterday’s emergency pod with @838carlisle.bsky.social still stand.

Including that this, for the Spirit on a football basis, is mostly fine. Adrian was arguably a better NWSL coach than Jona in their respective stints.

However there are MANY other questions to be answered

Brunson does so much non-sense when refs aren’t looking. He just grabbed Mathurin’s jersey as they ran down the floor knowing the refs were already looking ahead.

Did a bunch of it last game, too. Never noticed it before then. Is this a new thing, or a new thing to me?

Wish CBS showed more replay angles on the no calls/calls late.

We got one look at the Bonner no call, no good looks at the Clark no call, and one look at the Hull foul that might not have been.

Heck of a game though. Those teams are in the same tier. Gonna be a fun year.

Something that’s SO striking about the Pacers down the stretch last night:

They don’t stop playing their brand of basketball late in the games. They move the ball. They have different guys handle it. They keep the pressure on high.

They don’t turn into iso doo doo ball, and it’s glorious.

Tamerra Griffin with another banger.

The NWSL is counting on Alex Cooper to bring more fans to the NWSL.

Did you know that there is video of the actual NBA Draft Lottery?

I did not until I saw some snippets from @zachlowenba.bsky.social, and I feel like that’s an EPIC failure by the league not to promote the heck out of it for everyone who says “WHY CAN’T WE SEE?!” www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCxg...

The Mystics recover from a brutal start to still score 90 pts, win, and start the season 2-0.

Last year they started 0-12, and didn’t have their 2nd win until June 14th.

On Friday, Jamila Wideman told me “we think Soni was a steal at 3.”

Through two games, that feels correct. Kid’s a do everything baller.
