literally just actively makes excuses for why its okay to lust after a preteen and i dont get it. it holds jacopo to his sins in other regards but seems to always portray his love for morgana as just ‘pure’ instead of treating it with the same criticality

i think the same setup couldve easily been used with the same quality of writing as the rest to explore the topic in a way that doesnt like, weirdly absolve jacopo. because i do think morgana could have complex feelings on it as a victim of horrible circumstances but the narration itself //

i genuinely cant reconcile the way certain topics are handled within the same series, it has so many insightful things to say about abuse and gender and family dynamics and a lot of hard topics. and then they just handle morgana and jacopo like This.
