Probably worth noting, Kess is still ramping up. He only signed a week ago and was in St Louis before that. They don’t have to rush him into playing form yet.

They don’t appear to have made it a listed video this year, but now that’s it’s shared the link is available via the City app.

There's a timeline where St. Louis becomes the MLS version of Barcelona – just a nonstop assembly line of talent coming through the ranks.

I want to live in it.

Tbf, we didn’t get 30 games of Hiebert, and most of Hiebert’s games last year were early in the season along with Kess

What a nice chance to unveil the new kits

It sounds like he bridges the gap of having Europe connections and scouting experience but also versed in MLS rules. Seems like an amazing pickup in the new FO

I wonder if Wray, who has indicated that restructuring the roster will continue into the summer, will hold onto our spots until the European summer window opens. On the other hand, he’s shown that he values roster flexibility too.

FIFA banning stadium sponsor names for international competitions is always ironic

I think anything is available for the right cost. Timo is still rebuilding his value, so I think it’s less likely. People really thought we were paying a lot for Fallou Fall when we signed him. Selling Fall at the same fee we paid would also be a club record sale.

This must mean @stlcitysc.com is signing him to the first team, right? #AllForCITY

We *should* **probably** thank Mbacke for making it easy for us.

Probably why they’re bringing in another.

I think Lutz wasn’t very good at his job, so he decided that the “best way to win” was to be unconventional.
January 27, 2026 at 6:47 PM
He was still in St. Louis?

Why low confidence for MyKhi Joyner at St Louis? Because the system is being reworked, or because of playing time? If the latter, I think he’ll get plenty of time.
January 26, 2026 at 10:40 PM
I could see a world where Joyner is a deputy for Hartel
January 26, 2026 at 10:34 PM
Oh yeah, I phrased that poorly. I didn’t mean to suggest he’s my preferred CF, but I do think he’s the top of the list w/o Klauss. Healthy Teuchert would be my preferred choice, but that ain’t happening
January 26, 2026 at 6:10 PM
Celio/Joyner role is going to be a wide wingback, not a front 3 role. Hartel should be included in your front 3. Hartel, Becher, Sangbin is the most projectable front 3

Seems like a more reliable alternative than Ostrak, and we need his profile as a deputy for Lowen.
January 24, 2026 at 7:48 PM
We struggled a lot without a deputy for Lowen last year. He seems to profile for that role

It’s cool Larsen Hack is sticking around!

Anytime you see a transfer rumor, just remember whoever leaked it has an agenda. Remember when AZ Jackson was constantly linked to Europe? That was definitely just his agent trying spin up his value despite mediocre play.

The good news comes on the weekends it seems. At least on Fridays, after @flyoctofly.bsky.social comes out

He has a team option, if they want to pick it up.
