@schumer.senate.gov I know you think she's just young and female where you're male and wise but you would do well to *listen* to this woman and understand that she gets the moment a lot better than you do.
I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.
Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

1000x this. I chose to work for the VA because I believe in the mission. There is no greater service i can give as a nurse but to serve those that served. But now I go to work daily... worried.
