As someone pointed out, our GOP controlled government was already not keeping their promises, cutting funding & firing federal workers. So hopefully this DEM pushback will help in the long run.

Don’t worry. Mike Lee’s constituents don’t need affordable health insurance. That’s why Senator Lee is busy speaking at the Utah TPUSA conference thing-y. I’m guessing he will be resigning from the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because because Christian Nationalists hate Mormons.

I have been heartened ❤️ by my #exmo community who have come together, defended, & offered compassion & care to their former #Mormon community. My hope in humanity has increased as I've seen my friends unite in support of the #LDS Michigan members who've lost so much.

💜🙏. My mom & I no longer talk politics. We can touch on religion ever so delicately. I did share my sympathies with her about RMN. She is sad & said she has been profoundly impacted by his passing. My sister is more nuanced in her beliefs, which is a gift.

Of course my sincerest thoughts go out to those who are grieving his loss. Similarly, my sincerest thoughts go out to those who’ve suffered as a result of their relationship with the LDS church. 🫶
