In Feb we submitted a proposal to be part of a programme of ‘special edition’ events hosted by the National Poetry Library. We recently learnt our submission was accepted & we have been invited to take part in an online health-themed poetry showcase on 19/11/25!

I’ve recently discovered a new creative hobby: embroidery/ cross stitch.

I bought a small cross stitch kit from hobbycraft & really enjoyed making the butterfly.

Then I was gifted some beautiful kits from cotton_clara so have moved onto these cute funghi.

Fascinated by this section when he describes how an expert embroiderer and vascular surgeon learn from each other; a beautiful example of connection between creativity & medicine.
