There’s a free application, shutup10++, that lets you disable all the shitty windows stuff with a series of checkboxes.
It even tracks if windows rolls anything back between updates and lets you reverse the changes with a click.
I can personally recommend shutup10++ if you need to stick with windows

I spent 2 hours fighting a boss whose whole deal was corruption damage.

Me in my head: It's probably the boss weapon that will scale off Advance! Can't wait to try a new weapon.

Game: No, the weapon has nothing to do with the boss, it was just in its lair. Also it's dexterity again.

Yeah, purposefully avoiding it.
Since it is not yet completed, I just do not trust me to remember things by the time the sixth book is released.
Despite knowing it's kind of a good cut-off point to that story.

That being said, seem to be running out of Cosmere books, so its time will come.

That sounds like a story in your setting, in which the readers know that the people in the wrong hotel are desperate to get the normal people out of there, for fear they'd find out it's a monster hotel.

The other three stories in Arcanum Unbounded that come to mind, are a little shorter. Sixth of the Dusk, I'd read a story of it in the future, with some science fiction added in.

White Sand's setting seems like it could do more. But maybe with different characters.

Silence, I'd read about more.

Elantris' setting in general is something I'd like to see more of, as well.

Tress' story was very self-contained, I'd be fine not seeing any of these characters again, their arc is complete. But I would like its magic to reappear.

Thinking about the Cosmere books I've read.

I think Mistborn remains my favorite, but I wonder if that's not me being somewhat biased, because it is the only series I've read that had more than one book (for now, slowly reading more).

Finished what I feel I should have read from Arcanum Unbounded. There are two stories that need me to read other series first, that I haven't yet read.

So with that in mind, we're doing this, next.

I'm a little intimidated because I rarely go for this kind of setting, but we'll see.
