LOL. Team stops, Kip rolls. Never fails

Yeah very much so haha. But I’m thankful to have permission to use their beautiful ski trails to train on, so can’t really complain too much!

Yes I love the little electric ones! Unfortunately this was in a provincial park and I’m not allowed to use a chainsaw on anything 😬😬 luckily their trail team went out and cleared it this afternoon

A little glimpse into our morning run! As much as I love trees, I do not love when they block our trail!

Brooks is always a very slobbery boy haha. If there’s no slobber it wasn’t a good run!

Looking forward to many miles with this awesome team of dogs. Happy trails!

With that I’d like to introduce sweet Gingersnap (or Ginger for short). She’s a very race experienced 5 year old and I’m really excited to have her join my crew! She had her first run this morning with my team and absolutely CRUSHED it!!

On my trek home from dropping them off, I stopped at a friends kennel and picked out my new team mate for the season. You know you are in the right place when sled dog crossing signs are all over!

They had another 3.5 hours of driving from there until their final destination, where they were reunited with 5 prior teammates. The reunion was super precious, and both girls seemed really excited to be with a bunch of dogs again. They both (surprisingly) settled really really well to being inside.

It’s been a very busy week here. Earlier this week Queso and her other shy friend, Oozie, had their final vet appt to be able to go to their new home. They were given the all clear and were ready to finally go home! Yesterday I drove over 7 hours to bring them to their new forever home.

But they like running just as much!

I think they *may* like sleeping on the bed 🤔

Yay! Looking forward to meeting lots of new people! And yes, fingers crossed for a solid snow base!

It’s always a fun time at Beargrease! Haven’t participated since I last won the Jr race in 2019 so it’ll be a blast to be back again!

Just the 40, only have 4 dogs to work with haha. Much easier to borrow two dogs than it is 4 :)

Signed up for our first race of the season! Have an action packed season. Looking forward to being back at one of my absolute favourite races!

From sled dogs to bed hogs, these dogs certainly know how to live the good life!

Another day more dog butts

Nothing but dog toots and happiness in a bed with barely enough room for me

Pizza crusts were shared 🤭

Queso’s potential family didn’t end up working out, & this sweet girl is back looking for a forever home. She needs a patient home that understands her needs as a new house dog, preferably with another dog that can help show her the ropes! If you know anyone looking for a new 🐶 please reach out!

My amazing boss’s at work set out on a rescue mission to go get Queso and bring her back. Queso got a backpack ride for 8km back to the safety of a side by side for the remainder of the trip back home. She is back home at my kennel and in good spirits.
