I also just beat Atomfall, loved it! I hope Rebellion do more original games like this. The story, conversations and overall vibe were excellent. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the combat, though the cricket bat wind up and SFX were top notch.

Testing a build on the ye olde HTC Vive; still working no problem all the way from 2016, what a great bit of kit. Don't know how many friend and family demos of "The Lab" I gave with that thing.

I still think the Quest 2 is the G.O.A.T but the Vive is up there for sure.

Dawn Of War had loads of amazing voice lines and quotes, some of them are really thought provoking, but some are just unhinged sillyness and brilliantly performed. Particularly the Chaos faction:
- "Sanity is for the weak"
- "My spleen"
- "You dare to order me"

Since presenting myself as a solo dev rather than a "royal we" studio, player interactions have been 100% nicer.

Don't get me wrong, I wish the VR premium games audience was bigger, but as it is, it's pretty friendly and enthusiastic.

Latest BGA bug fix: users with long arms and who hold the forward grip of a rifle in reverse will no longer occasionally get shot in the face.

I'm still getting bug reports (albeit less) and making fixes a year on from release, its just the bugs get more obscure. Also VR bugs just hit different 🤷

Demo mode for home would be incredible, I'm used to punting people into "First Encounters". If Meta could reduce the friction for me as a VR evangelist, i'd crack VR out more often for newbies to try. Most haven't expereinced beyond carboard or my old Vive and are completely blown away by a Quest 3.

Loading up the Unity project for a now-released 2.5 year solo dev game. This is after 5 months break on something different.

Holy moly the amount of love and effort I poured into this thing!

Investing has taught me I'm not smart enough to time the market; the amount of times I've been sure a crash is coming and it doesn't, or at least not when I would have thought. You either FOMO the current gains or the dip buying opportunities! Cool indicator though, not seen that before.

I try to reply to all my reviews, for bad reviews I genuinely appreciate someone taking the chance on my game and the time to write the feedback, hopefully I can improve/fix it! For tiny amount of no feedback nasty ones I wish there was a "refund and block future purchases" button.

I agree! I feel like VR is absolutely brutal in pretty much every commercial / business / sanity way, at least that's my experience.

But I just can't stop making VR games, I love it!

Creating a world that people can actually go to and experince is magical and insane.
