Overwatch is unironically looking very exciting again! I've been very content to just see it as an "ok" game that I have fair amounts of nostalgia for -- today's spotlight was genuinely a huge series of pleasant surprises I'm very happy with!

I REALLY want future Ranger subclasses to treat Hunter's Mark the same way as Wild Shape for later Druid subclasses, basically ignoring its intended behavior and instead converting uses of it into a resource for other cool effects. Give them more flexibility than the ONE combat strat it encourages

I love "optimistic breakup" songs; where someone realizes the relationship has run its course, and instead of being depressed or celebrating it like "yay I'm single!", it's "we're not for each other, but I still wish you the best". Examples include "Oh Yeah" by AG Cook or "Love You Back" by Madeon

I haven't forgotten about CosmoCon this year -- I didn't get a chance to do a poll to decide the character for this year's edition, but I'm gonna treat myself and do a design that was a runner-up for a few years that I REALLY wanted to draw right now

the feeling I get throughout Highguard is that it was a game made the way it was not because the developers thought it would be a good idea, but because someone else told them to.
