"I don't think you should worry that much about Lucifer, but I can take us to a place where you can enter only with permission. Lucifer doesn't have it. That is, if you're ok in getting involved with a goddess from another religion and her magic."

"Oh, that's why. I thought He just teleported you through time or something like that.

I think we jumped a few steps, too. I'm Nemesis, Greek goddess of Retribution. You probably know me, considering your home was part of Greece back then. And you are?"

"Dear, you lived it. Talked with him. Was his friend. So how are you here? Jesus died two millenia ago."

Now, the goddess was just direct with her because she was confused. In her mind, she was trying to understand how a mortal lived so long. Or traveled through time.

"People usually are mean without reason. I wish I could say that was limited to mortals, but that would be a lie."

She sighs

"After his resurrection and ascension, what do you remember after that?"

"And then nothing more? Like, the rest of your life?"

Nemesis notices how remembering that affects Mary, but her existence by itself is more curious and important.

Now the goddess was truly curious. If this mortal woman witnessed his death, how is she alive today?

"I'll make a couple of questions just to see if I understood your situation. Do you remember anything after his death? Who are you? How much time passed? Anything at all?"

"You mean you're lost in your own faith, or you physically lost him?"

Nemesis knows about Christianity because once their land was part of Greece, but this was a long time ago. The goddess was curious but kept a pokerface while eating grapes.

"And you're traveling alone for how much time? You're quite far from home."

Nemesis notices the Bible, something expected considering from where she came. The goddess offers the grapes to Mary. The mortal probably needed something to eat.

"You don't look like a traveler."

Even if Mary was wary of her surroundings, Nemesis just appeared from nowhere, now walking by her side. Strange how a 6'7 woman wearing heavy armor could be this sneaky.

She was holding a bunch of grapes, eating them slowly while they walk.
