Located in Ladakh, this glaciated valley hosts the Chalong, Sangso, and Lamo #glaciers, along with a striking proglacial lake in front of the Lamo Glacier, and is one of the major sites being researched under #CryoSCOPE.❄️🏔️

In August 2025, CryoSCOPE partners in India installed two time-lapse camera systems above 3300 m a.s.l. in Ladakh to track snow depth at sub-daily scales. Each system records at 1-hour intervals.
