The reason he cries to be fair is less because Iโm gone and more because he knows I got fun toys in my work room I get to play with that heโs not allowed to. Iโve tried just giving up and letting him just get into everything and itโs so much work to watch him while working I also canโt get work done

Nah thereโs 0 room. In an insanely I barely have enough room to work as it is way. Also an issue. And we tried a large play pen downstairs and he got bored ASAP and cried the whole time he was in it because he wanted all of MY fun toys (my tools and projects) alas.

My mom works full time and also decided to get two Rottweiler puppies right after we had him. She offers to watch him on the 2 reg days she has off but like she also has to raise the dogs and she only has 2 days to relax. Just not reasonable.

Heโs about 21 months now. Right when he started crawling and being able to get off the couch is when I was COOKED lol. Everything was grab grab grab and suit materials and tools are so dangerous

I miss the grind. I wanna blast out suits. And I have to I guess?? when I only get little sleep windows to work but itโs hard to not feel hopeless like that part of my life will never be possible again. I just wanna make art so bad. How do parents do this?

Please I just wanna make costumes and my toddler either gets into everything or screams like he is dying when I keep him out of the workroom if heโs awake. Only being able to work when heโs asleep is getting tiresome. Add creative energy to the mix and this is SO HARD. THIS IS SO HARD

The corvid auction is ready to rumble! It'll be fairly quick, from Friday morning to Sunday evening (US time). As a thank you for being so patient with my hiatus, we're starting at a bit less than half the normal price, so I'm hopeful it's more accessible.

Took the shelf out of the work room to use for vhs downstairs and decided to replace it with basically nothing (to try and free up floor space) so everything on that shelf has to find a new home in the room so it's been a bit of moving around and puzzle solving but I wanna get back to patterning!
