To make room for mistakes in #APCSP, I grade less.

I only grade one assignment a week. For the rest, I provide answer keys so students can self-monitor. This gives me the capacity to give actionable feedback and allow for redos.

That's a wrap on #CSEdWeek 2025. We concluded the week with two guest speakers who discussed what Computer Science looks like outside of LaGuardia. They stressed having foundational CS skills will make them better citizens as technology has an increasingly large influence on our world. #CSforAll

On Day 4 of #CSEDWeek, I highlighted my path in computer science. I went from being a college CS major to a high school CS teacher. I also join forces with #kodewithklossy every summer to lead coding camps, encouraging more young people to code. #TeachCS #STEMEducation
